seat when reserving 5 or more seats.

We suggest reserving 24-72 hours in advance.

For more than 8 seats, we need an additional Guide, which may not be possible last minute.

Please reserve at least a week or two in advance to give us time to try.

Discount School Break Community Education for Youth and Kids:

Family Friendly Midweek Dates: Look for this: (Youth) ages 11-15 and (Kids) ages 6-10.  

 

For these dates we accept applications for limited income family discounts or funding: Applying for a "Limited Income Discount" is an even more affordable option and it is available for one activity each year. 

Adult participation required: 2 child maximum per parent or legal guardian. Waivers required. Call to submit funding application. Application Deadline: 1 week prior to activity.  3 hour tour rates": $50 per adult seat, $30 per child under 12. We would like to offer sliding scale discounts and scholarships on many guided tours and rentals but more funding is needed.

River & Marine Ecology:       Most Fridays               10AM - 1PM: $100

Wildlife and water samples. Identify tiny aquatic organisms, after we return, by microscope.

 

Estuary Wildlife Nurseries:  Most Saturdays & Sundays 10AM - 2PM: $120 / Youth $80 / Kids $60

Seasonal estuary wildlife and ecology in the Russian River Marine Protected Area

 

Native And Natural Cycles:   Most Mondays           10AM - 1PM: $100

Help survey local plants and animals. Discuss nature's balance and fluctuations.

Saturday April 12th 8:30 AM-Noon:   Earth Day "Estuary Shoreline Cleanup by Kayak": Free

Help cleanup trash and debris and learn about local plants and animals. Must reserve at least 48 hours in advance and be on time for group outfitting, safety review, and seating.

Saturday April 19th 9AM-1PM:   Earth Day Estuary Wildlife: $120 / Youth $80 / Kids $60

Wildlife and Marine Ecology Tours: June through September:

Water and Plankton Samples: Also taken with our "Living Classrooms" Science School Groups September through October. We also take samples November through May during high ocean temperature events. Keep an eye out for last minute announcements.  We enjoy sharing identifying microscopic and larger life in the estuary including for seasonal bioluminescence.
